In 1870s New Mexico, Deputy Pat Garrett (Barry Sullivan) befriends young gunfighter William H. Bonney (Clu Gulager), who will make history as Billy the Kid. This 1960s series portrays the pair's fictionalized adventures on both sides of the law. Loyalty keeps them together, even as the temptations of the outlaw life threaten to tear them apart. Martin Landau, Vic Morrow, Leonard Nimoy, James Coburn and Iron Eyes Cody guest star.
