Premier Russian maestro Vladimir Fedoseyev conducts the Moscow Radio Symphony Orchestra in this concert series recorded live at the Alte Oper Frankfurt. Some of Tchaikovsky's greatest works are performed, including Serenade for String Orchestra, Piano Concerto no. 1 in B-flat Minor, op. 23, featuring pianist Mikhail Pletner, and the composer's final masterpiece, Symphony no. 6 in B Minor, op. 74 ("Pathétique").
