Working on a novel he's been writing for nearly a decade, Henry Lesser (Dylan McDermott) is happy to be the only resident in a run-down Brooklyn tenement. But when Willie Spearmint (Snoop Dogg) -- a militant black writer with a beautiful white girlfriend (Rose Byrne) -- moves into another part of the building, his presence changes everything. Danny Green directs this smart drama based on the novel by Pulitzer Prize winner Bernard Malamud.
