A young attorney (Andy Lau) who's devoted his life to the study of the law receives bad news in the form of a one-two punch: First, he's disbarred for violating his professional duties, and then, he finds himself at the center of a murder investigation. With a seemingly open-and-shut case, it looks certain he'll be condemned, but -- as the title suggests -- the truth has a way of surfacing. Deannie Yip and Paul Chun Pui co-star.
