A notable and notorious milestone in cinema, this film follows the rugged life of seal hunters on the coast of Newfoundland. Fearing that the "town jinx" is trying to steal his girlfriend (Louise Huntington), Capt. Barker (Bob Bartlett) terrorizes the man by forcing him to participate in a seal hunt. Breathtaking cinematography and real seal hunt footage distinguish this film, the production of which claimed 26 crew member lives.
