Soon after moving into her husband's (Georges Rivière) family estate, newlywed Mary Hunter (Rossana Podestà) begins hearing strange noises that she can't quite seem to shake off. Upon further investigation, she discovers a sadistic ancestor who seems to have returned … as a ghost. Antonio Margheriti directs this gothic horror film from Italy that features Christopher Lee as a disfigured servant.
