Jérôme (Maurice Ronet), a novelist suffering from writer's block, hires a younger woman, Clara (Brigitte Bardot), as a personal assistant and secretary. Clara's presence is enough to inspire him again, but in more ways than just his writing. Her beauty fuels his lust, but Jérôme will have to submit to her desire for long-term romance if he wants a relationship. Anny Duperey and Joëlle LaTour co-star.
