The final season of this TV classic finds the Walton clan attempting to put the pieces back together in the aftermath of war. When Jason disappears overseas, John-Boy flies to France to find him, while Ben's capture lands him in a Japanese POW camp. In highlights from the ninth season, John-Boy finds a new career as a part of the TV media and Jason reopens the Dew Drop Inn.
