A probing psychological drama involving two lonely and sexually unfulfilled women in rural Australia. When an old maid takes on a unstable party-girl for househelp, the blinding monotony of life ceases, only to be replaced by mystery and suspicion. The pair forge an odd, co-dependent relationship plagued by questionable sanity, dark secrets and tragedy.
