In the fourth season of the Emmy-winning political drama, President Bartlet (Martin Sheen) has more than just re-election to contend with: For starters, the nation of Qumar is getting larger, and Ainsley Hayes (Emily Procter) is quitting. Meanwhile, Josh and Toby (Bradley Whitford and Richard Schiff) are stranded in the Midwest by the campaign bus, and C.J. (Allison Janney) is coping with the loss of a friend.
