The final season of this gripping drama focuses on the close of Pres. Bartlet's (Martin Sheen) tenure and the race that will elect his Oval Office successor. Republican hopeful Sen. Arnold Vinick (Alan Alda, in an Emmy-winning role) takes on Democrat Congressman Matt Santos (Jimmy Smits), whose running mate is Bartlet's former chief of staff, Leo McGarry (John Spencer). Expect plenty of stumping, a live debate and a stunning ending.
