American director Peter Sellars brings George Frederic Handel's treasured opera "Theodora" to the stage at the Glyndebourne Theatre in England. The legend of a love affair between a Christian virgin and a Roman imperial bodyguard in the 4th century is altered to a more contemporary setting -- present-day America -- allowing a stronger link with viewers. Stars Dawn Upshaw, David Daniels, Frode Olsen, Richard Croft and Lorraine Hunt.
