Sloane McBride (Jennifer Beals), a somewhat dried-up rock star from the '80s, hires a new, incredibly eager assistant, Jenny (Keri Lynn Pratt). Little does she suspect that Jenny has fiendish ulterior motives for wanting to be Sloane's trusted confidante. As Jenny's secret drive is slowly revealed, things in Sloane's life go from awkward to horrifying, and she must fight to preserve not only her career but possibly her very life.
