Cruiserweight boxing champ Patrick Nwamu stars in this autobiographical drama filmed in all five boroughs of New York City -- and the world-famous Gleason's Gym. After his father's death, "Punchin'" Pat Black (Nwamu) takes up with some mafiosos and finds love with Gina (Ruthann Debona), but their interracial romance inflames neighborhood tensions and ultimately lands him in the slammer. Will he get the chance to turn his life around?
