When schoolteacher Anne Leeds (Jean Simmons) takes a second job working as a secretary for nightclub owner Rocco (Paul Douglas), her good-hearted boss makes it his job to protect her from showbiz predators. Soon, the prim and proper tutor is helping everyone from the busboy who's trying to earn his U.S. citizenship to the chorine who dreams of becoming a famous chef in this rare comic outing from director Robert Wise (West Side Story).
