High school student Freya McAllister (Navi Rawat) begins hearing voices in her head during prom and ends up misdiagnosed as schizophrenic. She spends eight agonizing years in an institution before Dr. Michael Welles (Peter Horton) realizes Freya might instead be telepathic. He promptly whisks her away and commences training her for National Security Agency service. Breck Eisner directs this action-filled drama.
