Three Husbands

When he reaches heaven, deceased playboy Maxwell Bard (Emlyn Williams) is granted one last wish. He has letters sent to three of his buddies (Howard Da Silva, Shepperd Strudwick and Robert Karnes) claiming that he had affairs with their wives (Eve Arden, Ruth Warrick and Vanessa Brown). While the men go crazy trying to determine the truth, Bard watches the chaos from above. This classic comedy was inspired by the 1949 hit Letter to Three Wives.
