Hong Kong superstar Andy Lau portrays Zhao, a humble man who becomes a great warrior, rising to lead an army as his country endures a lengthy civil war. After many years, a new king sends Zhao on a final campaign to defeat the warlords for good. Based on Guanzhong Luo's 14th-century novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms, this martial arts epic directed by Daniel Lee also stars Sammo Hung Kam-Bo and Maggie Q.
