Living it up in their tiny beachside apartment, platonic roommates Jack (John Ritter), Janet (Joyce DeWitt) and Terri (Priscilla Barnes) do their best to keep three from becoming a crowd. But try as they might, they just can't seem to convince landlord Furley (Don Knotts) that they're all just friends. Richard Kline co-stars as Jack's swingin' bachelor friend, Larry, in Season 6, and Jeffery Tambor makes a special guest appearance.
