Through Gates of Splendor

  (1967)
In 1956, five missionaries traveled to the remote jungles of Ecuador to bring the Gospel to the Auca Indians. The Aucas did not accept the missionaries or their teachings -- and ended up killing them. In this unforgettable documentary based on the book of the same name, Elisabeth Elliot, the wife of one of the slain men, goes to Ecuador with her daughter and Rachel Saint to live among the Aucas and continue the work her husband started.
