Renowned Italian baritone Tito Gobbi stars as Tonio in this 1947 performance of Ruggero Leoncavallo's opera "Pagliacci," a story about a troupe of traveling actors. Conductor Giuseppe Morelli leads the Orchestra e Coro del Teatro dell'Opera di Roma. The production also stars actress Gina Lollobrigida and actor Alfred Poli, and features vocals by sopranos Onelia Fineschi and Gabriella Gatti and tenors Galliano Masini and Jose Soler.
