Tito Puente, known as the King of Mambo, plays Montreal in this vintage 1983 performance. Puente leads the band and keeps a driving Latin beat on the percussion as he's backed by Michel Camilo, Vincent Frisaura, Edgardo Miranda and others in a tight ensemble. Seven tracks include "Oye Como Va" (perhaps his biggest hit), "On Broadway" and "Pare Cochero."
