In 1954 Yugoslavia, 10-year-old Zoran (Dimitrije Vojnov) -- to his parents' consternation -- develops a fascination with the country's charismatic but despotic ruler, Marshall Tito (Vojislav Brajovic). Zoran is also consumed with thoughts of a female classmate who plans to take a walking tour of Tito's homeland. Sparked by his dual obsessions, Zoran wins an essay contest that earns him a spot on the tour … but he's in for some unexpected lessons.
