Barbara Stanwyck stars in two early-1950s classics in this double bill: the 1950 fast-paced racing drama To Please a Lady and the 1953 film noir thriller Jeopardy. In To Please a Lady, Stanwyck is reporter Regina Forbes, whose investigation and seduction of a race-car driver (Clark Gable) distracts him into potential danger. In Jeopardy, vacationing wife Helen (Stanwyck) is kidnapped just as her husband (Barry Sullivan) is trapped under a jetty.
