To the Ends of the Earth

Stuck on a long sea voyage to Australia in 1812, naïve young aristocrat Edmund Talbot (Benedict Cumberbatch) rubs fellow crew members the wrong way with his haughty manner. But within the cramped vessel, Talbot learns how to navigate the waters of every social class. On the lengthy passage, he must deal with seasickness, a hostile captain and the French, who would be happy to sink the ship. This miniseries is based on a William Golding trilogy.
