French director Jeanne Labrune offers a peek at Parisian life through the intersecting -- if inconsequential -- problems of several high-strung strangers. There's Marie (Isabelle Carre), a young cellist who thinks a pickpocket stole her wallet; her friend Elisabeth (Jeanne Balibar), who's forced to get rid of a piece of heirloom furniture; and Sophie (Nathalie Baye), a bourgeois housewife who agrees to take it off her hands.
