Henry Rush (Ted Knight) is a San Francisco cartoonist whose comic-strip creation, "The Cosmic Cow," allows him to work at home and stand watch -- with wife Muriel (Nancy Dussault) -- over his two daughters (Lydia Cornell and Deborah Van Valkenburgh), who have just reached the "va-voom" stage of development. Handily, the girls live directly downstairs in a separate apartment. JM J. Bullock co-stars as klutzy neighbor Monroe.
