As World War II rages on in Europe, a reluctant squad of British soldiers stationed in the Pacific theater find themselves tasked with destroying a Japanese radio base behind enemy lines. Michael Caine and Cliff Robertson co-star in this military drama penned by director Robert Aldrich and Lukas Heller, a screenwriter whose credits include What Ever Happened to Baby Jane (1962), Hush … Hush, Sweet Charlotte (1964) and The Dirty Dozen (1967).
