Lillian (Pamela Sue Martin) and Jake (Steve Railsback) seem to be living the good life in Los Angeles, with successful careers and a happy marriage -- until an acquaintance who deals drugs (Ian McShane) introduces them to the pleasures of freebasing cocaine. Lillian leaves the drug alone, but soon Jake is helplessly addicted and risks everything to feed his ever-worsening habit. Thomas J. Wright directs this potent cautionary drama.
