After years apart, childhood friends Ben (Adrian Pasdar) and Laila (Cecilia Peck) are reunited and fall in love. But their happily-ever-after is threatened by the fact that Ben is a Jewish Israeli soldier and Laila is Arabic. Based on the novel A Forbidden Love by Chayym Zeldis, this romantic drama follows the two lovers' attempts to escape from violence and prejudice and find peace.
