Can a happily married woman handle her attraction to a charming new man? Lee Remick stars as loving wife Diane Conti, who faces a midlife crisis when she's tempted to betray her devoted husband (Joseph Bologna) in favor of a virtual stranger (George Peppard) she's met while stranded at an airport. Initially able to resist amorous urges, Diane maintains a happy home life but soon finds she can't ignore the exciting draw of taking a new lover.
