Believing that he can cure their deviant minds through surgery, twisted doctor Herbert Stander (Irving Pichel) lures a group of criminals aboard his boat -- helmed by his nephew, Lt. Bennett (Lyle Talbot) -- and conducts horrifying experimental procedures on the passengers. When Bennett discovers the extent of the gruesome operations, he leads the victims in an uprising against the doctor. Victor Halperin directs this B-movie thriller.
