Optimus Prime and the Autobots have adopted Earth as their base, and the quest continues for energy sources to renew their home planet, Cybertron. Archrivals the Decepticons are also eyeing Earth -- as fodder in a campaign for universal domination. In Season 2 of the original "Transformers" series, the Great War rages on, with both factions churning out new soldiers -- and gaining human allies -- in the race to take the lead.
