Alec McCowen, Trevor Peacock and Felicity Kendal star in this BBC production of Shakespeare's romantic comedy about Viola, a shipwrecked girl who disguises herself as a male servant and falls in love with Duke Orsino of Illyria, who is courting someone else. The odds are against Viola winning Orsino's heart, and things go from bad to worse thanks to Viola's twin brother, a confused countess, a drunkard and a ridiculous knight.
