Two Arabian Knights

Set during World War I, this quirky silent comedy from director Lewis Milestone (who won an Oscar) chronicles the adventures of incessantly bickering American soldiers W. Dangerfield Phelps (William Boyd) and Peter McGaffney (Louis Wolheim). After Germans capture the two Yanks, they escape by posing as Arabs and soon find themselves stowing away aboard a freighter, where they try to save an Arabian princess (Mary Astor) from a randy sheik.
