When the residents of a small town near a lake have flashbacks of a strange night filled with bright lights, their memories seem to point to an extraterrestrial encounter. Searching for proof, one of the locals, an electronics expert researching UFO phenomena, believes that the signals he's been receiving are coming from an alien spacecraft … in the lake.
