In this romance from the golden age of Mexican cinema, Soledad (Silvia Pinal), the daughter of a wealthy landowner, falls in love with a man her father despises -- and is determined to marry him regardless of the consequences. As the battle for her heart wages on, Soledad goads a dogged but unwanted suitor into fighting her true love. The results, however, are to no one's liking in this film from legendary director Emilio "El Indio" Fernández.
