A pharmacist and his wife discover this truth when their ordinary life is altered by the return of an old friend who was thought to have died in Vietnam, and by the arrival of an attractive summer houseguest. Set in a small fishing town on the coast of Puerto Rico, this endearing story of love and loss reveals how four people are emotionally transformed when destiny brings them together.
