Scarred by the devastation and aftermath of the holocaust, teenage orphans residing on an Israeli kibbutz in 1953 struggle to find identity and closure. As they contend with daily life and memories of a tortured past, they try to pick up the pieces of their shattered lives while longing for the solace of family. Fine performances from the young cast elevate this episodic drama based on Gila Almagor's autobiographical novel.
