Teenage chanteuse Addie Singer (Emma Roberts) -- a huge music fan who also composes her own songs to portray the desires and frustrations of her not-so-simple life -- is the focus of this popular middle-school drama. Addie and her best friends, Geena (Malese Jow) and Zack (Jordan Calloway), have plenty of crises and triumphs to share, from the shame of dental braces to the head-over-heels thrill of knowing that the cutest guy in school likes you.
