David is an awkward, frustrated teenager who's fallen for Gloria, the prettiest girl in his class. Having no experience attracting girls, David goes to great lengths to get Gloria's attention. But his idiotic antics only work to repel her instead. It's an age-old story that's been told countless times, but director Victor García León's ability to capture an authentic range of human emotion brings an added dimension of warmth and charm.
