A struggling Vietnam veteran afflicted with an Agent Orange-related cancer links up with a Veterans' Administration counselor who campaigns for V.A. benefits for vets with illnesses caused by the deadly chemical. Their crusade is hindered by continuous threats from the V.A. warning them to abort their lobbying, but despite a stacked deck, they continue their quest. Stars John Ritter, Patti LaBelle, John Sayles and Alfre Woodard.
