Unspoken
(2008)|
Belgian filmmaker Fien Troch follows up 2005's Someone Else's Happiness with a second meditation on the loss of a child, this time seen through the broken pieces of the relationship between grieving parents Lukas (Bruno Todeschini) and Grace (Emmanuelle Devos). As they struggle through their day-to-day existence, the subject of their missing daughter remains unspoken, but Lukas and Grace find their loss symbolized in virtually everything they do.
