Unspooled

  (2007)
This documentary by acclaimed filmmaker Keir Moreano follows the production of NYU student Maurice Singer's thesis film, a lurid twist on Little Red Riding Hood called Bemoana, set in a remote cabin in snowy New England. On paper, the movie promises to be a success. But when the production implodes among set disasters and quarrels with the crew, Singer must develop new filmmaking -- and social -- skills if he wants to get the job done.
