After missing her connecting flight in Paris, a forlorn American woman named Mo Alexander (Karen Allen) is forced to head back to her hotel, where she meets Xavier de la Perouse (Thierry Lhermitte), a wealthy French businessman who happens to be married. Regardless, the pair ignites a passionate affair seemingly destined to end in heartbreak. Will Mo relish her new relationship while it lasts, or will guilt get the best of her?
