Based on the popular television series, this anime fantasy follows the escapades of Ataru, his alien sweetheart, Lum, and their friend Shinobu. When everyone in town receives an invitation to Ataru's wedding, they're shocked that the bride isn't Lum. But alien girl Elle and her family claim that when Ataru stepped on her shadow as a child, his act served as a marriage proposal. Now Lum and Shinobu must join forces to save Ataru.
