Having depleted their own resources, an alien species flees to Earth, where their humanoid appearance and friendly attitude gain them the acceptance of their new cohabitants. But a group of astute humans soon uncovers the Visitors' sinister motives. As the Visitors quietly amass power and target scientists, a resistance movement led by a chemist (Faye Grant) and a news cameraman (Marc Singer) prepares to battle for ownership of the planet.
