As African-American women struggle to find suitable black husbands, worries arise over the possible social extinction of the black male; this probing documentary examines the societal forces behind the phenomenon. Actor and producer Melvin Jackson Jr. interviews doctors, politicians, college students, teachers, law enforcement personnel, a screenwriter and others, who offer straightforward comments on the disconcerting trend.
