A prehistoric creature wakes up on the wrong side of the bed in this rare, uncut version of Jerry Baerwitz's monster movie. Working on a desalination project on an island off the coast of Japan, a team of Japanese and American scientists disturbs the hibernating Varan. The cranky creature retaliates by flying from its submerged lair and wreaking havoc on the citizens of Tokyo. Tsuruko Kobayashi, Myron Healy and Clifford Kawada star.
