This epic actioner tells the story of Xiaoyan (Ping Chin), a young woman determined to seek vengeance on the thieves who stole her father's coveted sword, crippling him in the process. But her quest may be derailed when she runs across her long-lost mother, whose treachery played a hand in the crime. This martial arts melodrama of family secrets and flying swords was written and directed by Shaw Brothers filmmaker Meng Hua Ho.
